Can You Believe?!?!

I am so sure Michael Jackson died today!!! That's just plain craziness!! I seriously can't believe it!! There's no question that he is the weirdie of all weirdies but you can't deny that he is an ICON!!! Good grief who's next!??! The entertainment world is dying off!! I was hard pressed to find a decent picture of him-you know where he's not looking freaky with his crazy nose or grabbing his crotch or some such nonsense so this one will have to do and I mean come on Thriller is after all the best selling album of all time!!! Don't worry that Strudel is in mourning & will be for some time I'm sure. Be sure to pay her some condolences!



And please we can't forget the Moonwalk!!!




I put "The Way You Make Me Feel" on my Tunes For The Blog (if you'll notice). Not only is it my favorite Micheal Jackson song it's also one of my favorite songs of ALL time!! I'll be having a King Of Pop music day tomorrow in remembrance!!

In other entertainment news: have you heard this mess about the Academy having 10 Best Picture nominations next year instead of the usual 5?!? At 1st I thought nothing of it except that it's twice as many movies I'll have to see in preparation but still I was fine with it. Then I read some nonsense about how they're hoping that having more nominated films will let a wider range of movies have a chance at the big prize. Sci-if movies like Star Trek (you know I'm a total Trekkie but seriously Star Trek winning a Best Picture Oscar!? Get serious!!). They're also hoping that comedies might have a better shot now....comedies like The Hangover!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! I'll die before I see The Hangover in the Best Picture race! You heard me DIE!! What's next having Britney Spears host the show!?! Good grief pull it together Hollywood!!!

Since You've Been Gone....

Well I've got a lot to report...ok maybe not a lot but it'll take a while to spill it all out. Let's start with the FABULOUS trip me & my crew took down to Utah to see Kelly Clarkson!!! I LOVE HER!!! After Lifehouse she is the soundtrack of my life!!

LOVE how at the beginning of this one she talks about being in a relationship where the other person PISSED you off!! You know I was screaming over that!!! Also I crapping love this song & it was so written for me!! I even wrote part of it on the mirror in my bathroom! As Marissa says it's all "BAM YOU SUCK!!" true story!!



This next one I had never heard before but now I absolutely love it!! And man that girl can sing!!



And of course some pics of us from the concert! We had pretty much the best spot in the whole place & we were SO close to Kelly!! oh it was such a delight!!!

Also, last week I celebrated a month of being at my apartment!! I can't believe it's been a whole month already!! crazy talk! I celebrated with my buddy Junior from work & here's a pic of my celebretory piece of cake! And yes I know it seems silly to celebrate such a thing but it's a HUGE milestone for me!! I'm feeling better & better as each day passes & feel like I'm getting control of my life back!! Well done Melissa!!




So I decided it's high time I took some pics of my new place so my fans can see it-if they haven't seen it in person already!! So look for that in my next post!! stay tuned......

The Bucket List

If you’ll notice my countdown I am going to be 30 years old in 83 days!!! 83 DAYS!!!! In anticipation of the BIG 3-0 I am compiling a list of things I would like to do/try/get done before the big day comes! So far my list is as follows:

Paintballing
Toilet papering
Sing Karaoke
Catch, gut, clean, cook, & eat a fish
Eat a meal at a sit down restaurant by myself
Learn to play a song on the violin
Finish the quilt I started 5 years ago
Eat snake
Lose 15 pounds
See an opera

If anyone can think of anything else to add to this list please feel free to leave your suggestions!!! I've only got 83 days so I better get to gettin!!!!
